This hotel is what you expect from a 2 star. The location is very convenient to the metro but offers little else. Easy to step on metro and go anywhere in Athens. Staff very friendly, room clean and basic. Breakfast good. Excellent value for money.
TV remote not working. Fridge not working.
the most disgasring hotel i have ever been
Friendly staff who managed some English and helpful about info on places to visit and access to same by local transport. Allowed me to stay few hours beyond normal check-out time. Could be considered when on a budget or for a short stay.
Situated on a busy square , very noisy and no fan or aircondition facilities. Small rooms could be very hot and stuffy, quite uncomfortable. To avoid during Summer.
Cheap, basic, close to metro station and close to tourist spots
Dirty/bad neighbourhood, strange characters living/staying in building
The price and location.
Staff does not speak english, and have no free city maps.
Checking out. It is also very close proximity to a Metro stop.
This hotel is in a dirty part of town and the hotel itself was dirty. Our room had metal shutters covering a sliding glass door. When you open the shutters, you discover that you, and anyone else have access to a roof area that connects several other rooms that do not have locks on doors. The staff also tried to tell me they don't except credit card, when I told him it was my only method of payment, he reluctantly excepted.
Arrived to such a friendly welcome by the lovely Alex on reception - and was looked after brilliantly the whole time. Only stayed a couple of days and it was perfect for this, seeing the city, right next to the metro only one stop from the Acropolis. The room was clean and the breakfast was simple but fine - and again the friendly service was what was important. Great value for money and a great location. Would go back in a heart beat, thank you Claridge!
The room is Cosy and nice. Excellent proximity to the metro. For people on a shoe string budget.
What you paid is what you get. Not for those who required a more pampered nights of stay.
The location- the hotel is minutes away from Omonia metro. I was travelling on a budget and Claridge was a cheap and cheerful option.
The hotel seems to be undergoing refurbishments, there were unhinged doors and clutter on hallways. Smoking is also permitted in the hotel so you could smell it along the hallways. The breakfast/lounge area could do with some serious cleaning.
Simple hotel, close to Omonoia metro station, kind and helpful staff.
Breakfast was the same all day: luncheon ham, cheese, butter, jam, cookies. Floor was dirty.
the breakfast was poor and the second night i hope important time to be serve. the street of this hotel receive people not very famous
Everything you could want for a couple of nights. Close to everything and great location for metro station. Comfortable bed, nice and clean, quiet. Little balcony outside the room to see the lights at night. No view of the Acropolis but you can see that from anywhere. OK the location is a little salubrious but it is very close to the square so you don't have to wander around. All in all a good stay and excellent value.
Very hard pillows, they hurt your neck!
It was convenient to the metro and was within easy walking distance to the other to City centres
There was a gathering of drug abusers opposite the Hotel which was alarming and the Police were constantly trying to move them along Not the Hotels fault but a problem none the less
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
The location is not very safe at night especially for women.
It is central and convenient for public transport and for shopping.
very hard pollows
